Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year way late!  Hope your 2011 is all you hope it to be!  We had a great New Year's Eve at a friends house and did not make it until midnight.  Although we did see the ball drop at 11:00 CST - gotta love that!

Christmas Morning 2010

We were able to spend Christmas with Tyler’s parents and we had a great Christmas.  So fun to be able to make special memories of waking up at home on Christmas morning.  Hope you had a great holiday season too!

 

Christmas Program

Corvin had a Christmas program at school.  It was very cute and entertaining!

Stockings

I love our Christmas stockings and am excited to actually have a mantle to hang them on, not this year though.  The stocking holders I have will definitely knock Brady out if he pulls on a stocking and the holder lands on his head.  So instead of the mantle we put them here.  I wasn’t sure I was going to like it, but I did.  Simple and sweet.  

Christmas Cookies

I remember as a kid helping my Mom make Christmas cookies, she always made tons of different kinds.  The only part I disliked was frosting the sugar cookies.  I sure like to eat them but still am not fond of making them, although they are definitely a favorite in this house.  Corvin loves to help bake and he was right there to help with Christmas cookies. So fun to make new memories!

 The best part about making cookies is eating them!

Gingerbread Train

We did Christmas with Nana/Papa K and Sara, Reese and Sage in early January.  I just realized this is the only pictures I took when they were here - bummer. At least Sara posted some pictures a few weeks back. 

Thanks Nana for making the train with Corvin - he had so much fun!

Ball Popper

One of the favorite toys in our house right now is this ball popper.  It is definitely NOT a favorite of mine!  They both love it and want to play with it all the time and definitely when their brother has it!

Vacuum

Corvin loves the vacuum or sweeper as Tyler calls it and loves to help sweep.  YEAH!  Let’s hope this sticks and he can vacuum on his own as he gets older!

Forts

The boys had soooo much fun playing in this fort.  Love seeing the smiles on their faces and how much fun they are having with such a simple activity!

Jobs Around the House

Corvin has a new job around the house and it is great to help out mom/dad.  His new job is to put the silverware away.  And of course Brady could not be left out so here is Brady helping Corvin put away the silverware with help from Tyler.

Way Too Long

So it has once again been forever since I have posted.  Maybe I should actually make a resolution and have it be to try and keep up with the blog!  Happy New Year to all.  Here is wishing everyone a very happy and healthy 2011!!!

We went bowling on Martin Luther King Day.  Tyler had the day off from work. We all had a great time.  Brady loved it and could not get enough of bowling!
