M & M Award

CJ received the magnificent manners award and a package of M&M's at the end of pre-school and I finally remembered to take a picture this week.  Here he is showing off his award!

VBS Carnival

After the VBS closing program there was a carnival.  The carnival was AMAZING!  They had great games, prizes, two bounce houses, a balloon maker and a separate area for toddlers.  The boys loved it!

VBS

This picture is from the VBS closing program at our church.  He seemed to really enjoy his time with VBS.  Look closely at the picture - he is in the middle.  There were a ton of kids on stage - fun to watch!

Miniature Golf

Tyler's parents were here recntly for a visit.  One of the activities we did was to taee the boys miniature golfing.  What an adventure to chase the boys around the course.  Fun as every adventure is!

Books

We love to read in our house and I am so happy the boys both love books as well.  Here sweet Brady laughs at a book that Tyler reads to him.

Mega Blocks

The boys love to build anytime and with anything: legos, blocks, wood, sand, anything will work.  This shows the garage CJ and Tyler built with mega blocks for a few of his Cars characters.  CJ had a blast!

Outdoor Fun

It has been soooooooo hot here this summer.  We have still been trying to get outside, but have been spending most of our time in A/C.  Here the boys are having fun in the sun!

Whiffle Ball Fun

CJ has been having lots of fun lately hitting out in the yard with Tyler.  I've been playing catcher!

T-Ball Time

Both the boys love to play outside.  Brady has been really into t-ball lately, but with a twist.  Using a golf ball and a golf club!

Chef CJ

CJ went to two different VBS programs this summer and had a blast at both.  The most recent one was themed Shake It Up.  This was one of the crafts he came home with!

Mohawks and Spikes

Whoever knew hair gel could be so much fun!  The boys were getting their hair cuts so we decided to play with hair gel before they did.  We will have to do this more often!

Visit to a Children's Museum

We also went to the Children’s Museum on our last visit to see Resse-Sara-Sage.  Such an amazing museum!  We always have a great time when we go there. 

Day Out With Thomas

We stayed with Sara-Reese-Sage in late June and were able to have a fabulous fun outing near their house - A Day Out with Thomas 2011!  CJ was sooo excited when we told him what we were doing.   These events are held all over the country and each one is a bit different depending on the venue.  We rode a train pulled by Thomas, the boys rode a barrel ride, CJ played mini golf and more.  It was a full day of fun!

Safety Town

Awhile back we went to Safety Town for a picnic and to play.  It is a great park for kids to learn how to ride their bikes and be on 'real' roads, stoplights, signs, etc.  What a great park!

Notice that Brady is on the big blue bike and CJ is on the big wheel.  CJ is still not into his bike and much prefers the old big wheel type bike.  Although Brady loves the big bike as you can see!  We are working on it.
