Golfing in January

The boys were so excited to get outside this week when it was 50 degrees!  Although it was quite windy it was still great to get outside and run off some energy!

Brothers

They were both excited for Brady to get the big boy bed!  I love pictures like then where they are so happy and having fun with each other.

New Perch

Bakers

I had two helpers as I was making breakfast recently.  They both love to help!  We were making baked oatmeal.  I found a great new recipe for baked oatmeal - http://www.lynnskitchenadventures.com/2011/11/tips-and-facts-for-making-baked-oatmeal.html.  CJ will eat this and he has never eaten oatmeal before!

Big Boy Bed

Brady is now officially in his new big boy bed!  He has done great in the bed, but still has a hard time actually getting to sleep.  He will get there eventually.   Notice, the bed rail, it did not last even one time.  Brady realized it was not on the bed when CJ had it so why should it be there for him - smart boy!

Future Football Player

Anyone recognize the helmet?  Go Celina Bulldogs! This is Tyler's helmet from when he played football in high school.  CJ has been asking to see it and wanted to try it on.  Here he is!

Crib

Brady has not been sleeping in his crib since after Christmas.  He is definitely not a baby anymore!  The boys had fun taking the crib down with Tyler. 

Window Art

The boys love to help decorate for anything.  These gel window clings are always fun for them to put up.

This was a gift from Christmas and the boys really like it!  Love that they were happily playing together on it!

Gingerbread House

We did not get time to make this gingerbread house before Christmas so we ended up doing it the day Tyler went back to work to start the year.  It was perfect to save for that day as extra activities are always a plus when Tyler goes back to work after being on vacation with us.   The boys sure miss their Dad when he is gone!

Box

Just as fun as the truck – the box it came in.  I thought they would love playing in the box almost as much as the truck and they sure did!

Power Wheels

What a neat gift from Nana/Papa D – a power wheel!  CJ has been saying he wanted one of these since summer.  They had lots of fun driving it around. Wait until it next year and the warm weather – watch out!

Kid's Museum

We were able to catch up with our good friends the Germann’s before Thanksgiving and went to the kids museum for a morning of fun while there.  The boys really enjoyed it.  

 Their favorite area was a tree fort of sorts that was huge.  They had so much fun!

Christmas in November

We spent Thanksgiving with Tyler’s parents and had a nice time – thank you.  We also did Christmas in November with them.  Here are Nana/Papa D with the boys in front of the tree.

Sage’s Party Weekend

We spent the weekend with Sage for her 2^nd birthday party – it was a fun party and a fun weekend!  

Coloring

Coloring with markers and getting along at the same table!

Brothers

Lawnmowers on the sidewalk – makes sense to me!  It was so nice here the beginning of this month we were able to get out for a walk around the block and out came the lawnmowers again. They love pushing them all over.

Happy Fall & Rain Boots

We went to a farm and the boys picked out some pumpkins and gourds to go along with the gorgeous mum from Aunt Connie to decorate this past Fall!

My mom got all her grand-kids rain boots and the boys love them!  Frogs for the boys and Sage’s are pink, girly and cute!

New Tree

We had a tree planted in our front yard in October and of course we had to document it with pictures!

Autumn Adventure

There was a family day this Fall through Tyler’s work and it was a great time.  They had lots of different activities for kids along with lunch.
