Santa

We went to the mall to see Santa and get pictures when Tyler was off a week or so ago.  That is until I found out the cheapest package was $20 – what a rip off!  So instead the following day we went to a ‘Breakfast with Santa’ put on by our local Chamber of Commerce.  For $10 we all got donuts and a picture with Santa!  That made me feel better to support our community and actually get something for our $$. As you can see Brady was not thrilled to be sitting with Santa.

Decorated Tree

It is decorated now!  Brady is still doing great with it and Corvin had lots of fun putting the ornaments on it as well as candy canes!

Presents

Thanks so much to Aunt Sandy/Uncle Al for the great Christmas presents they sent for the boys.  As you can see Corvin liked the bubble wrap as much as his book!

Yes, the bib is a St. Patrick's Day bib.  Brady goes through about 4 bibs a day and is still a huge drooler.  But a bib is a bib.  We will work on being coordinated with the holidays!

Gingerbread House

Corvin got these stickers from Nana K and had so much fun creating sticker gingerbread houses!  Now we need to get a kit to make one for real.

Christmas Tree

Corvin was super excited to put up the Christmas tree.  He helped Tyler bring it up from the basement and put it together.  We did not put ornaments on it right away as I wanted Brady to get used to it before we did.  He has mostly ignored the tree and has been really good with it.

Snow!

Finally a new post.  I don't think I have gone that long without posting.

The boys were able to play in the snow while we tried to put out some Christmas decorations recently.  Corvin thought it was great – Brady still is not so fond of the snow!

Head Phones

Corvin loves to watch DVD's in the car on our portable DVD player.  We did not enjoy listening to them so we got out some headphones for him that we had.  These pictures crack me up!  The headphones look HUGE on him.  But it made the ride more pleasant for everyone!

Swings

We have enjoyed many times on the swing set and love having it in our backyard.  The boys and I were able to get outside one last time the Monday before Thanksgiving. Here they are enjoying the swings and the warm weather.

Dads and Kiddo’s

I love seeing pictures of Tyler and Reese with the kids.  You are both such great dads!

Snow Fun

We were able to get out and enjoy some snow while up over Thanksgiving.  Tyler and Corvin built some snowmen as well.  They had four done before they melted that afternoon, although I only got a picture of one.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is a special day - my Mom's birthday!  We hope you have a wonderful day celebrating YOU!  Thank you for being you.

I brought a cake mix and frosting so Corvin could help make a cake for Nana's birthday.  Notice the sprinkles and placement on the cake - Corvin had fun making it!   Then there is the candle.  I forgot to bring candles and this was what we came up with!  Too funny!

Thanksgiving Fun

We had a great trip for Thanksgiving.  It was so nice to see everyone!  We had some crafts to keep the kids busy and adults too.  Here are some moments to remember from Grandpa's!  Also our little pilgrim is at the end, they had a Thanksgiving Feast at pre-school and Corvin was a pilgrim!

1st Haircut

Well, our Brady definitely now looks like a toddler instead of a baby, my baby is long gone!  Here are some shots of his 1st haircut.  He was not a fan of getting his hair cut at all – even sitting on my lap the entire time.  Corvin’s first hair cut was at 22 months of age and Brady was 13 months old.  Fun to think of the differences between the two of them!  Shannon had so much patience with us - thank you!

The before picture!

I like that you can see Corvin watching from the bottom of the picture!

Shannon did such a good job with him and had lots of patience for us.  Corvin kept trying to move the chair we were in, along with Brady being not so sure about this new experience!

After shot of our happy boy with his new hair cut!

Fire Truck Boys

Tyler took these pictures the other night.   I was out running errands and when I came home this is what I saw.  Too funny!  I was so glad he was able to get some pictures of them on this together.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!  Corvin and I made a few turkeys to celebrate Thanksgiving. He had so much fun!  We also made a thankful turkey which listed something he was thankful for on each feather.  This is what he chose to list that he was thankful for: Trains – Family – Stickers – Food – Animals.

Bubbles

These were taken on November 12th this year.  Never would I think it would be this nice in November.  The boys had tons of fun with the bubbles and chasing them around the yard!

Craft Projects

Corvin has always loved to do crafts and projects.  He has been wanting to make an owl for quite some time.  They had a bulletin board at school with owl’s on it, and he thought they were neat.  Also here are some of his recent painting crafts.  He just loves to do crafts!

Bulldozer Boys

The boys have really been enjoying the bulldozer lately.  As you can see Brady is pushing Corvin - you think it would be the other way around - but they both love to push or ride it.  The toy definitely has been a hit- thanks Nana/Papa K!

Periscope

Tyler and Corvin recently went to Lowe's for a Saturday morning outing.  Lowe's has sessions for kids and an adult where they make a special project, this week it was a periscope.  What a great time Corvin had on his special outing with Tyler.    As you can see he was very proud of his creation!

Food Anyone?

This is a pretty accurate picture for Brady as he still loves to eat which is great!  Of course the refrigerator is also a fun toy that he loves to get into.  If he is around when the refrigerator door opens, he races to get in.

Boys & Doors

Corvin was outside playing the other day when it was nice out.  Brady had lots of fun playing through the patio door.  We are loving the warmer weather that we have been having – 60 degrees in November is great!

Pantry

Brady loves to get into the pantry.  The shelves are just his height and he loves to get into it all. Notice he has no socks on.  I can’t keep socks on this kid!  He loves to pull them off and still isn’t used to wearing them after all summer of bare feet.
