Pro Mini Golfers

Our resort was very nice – thank you Nana/Papa D.  It had a miniature golf course so of course we had to try it out.  I should say they tried out I just tried to keep up with the boys.  There was a fountain/water feature on it and I told Corvin to stay out of the water.  So instead the instant after I told him that - he threw his golf ball into the water – ugh!  He was not pleased to sit out the next hole due to that!

Mickey Mouse Ears

I was so excited to get Mickey Ears for the boys.  Then of course I had to have their names put on them!  They are now on the shelves in their room.  Such a fun souvenir!

End Of Disney

Well, here we are at the end of the day.  We survived Disney World for a day!!!  We did so much in the one day we were there.  We rode on a tram, boat, train, all sorts of rides and lastly the monorail.  I am still amazed at the whole experience.  We will plan on going back sometime when Brady is old enough to really enjoy it!

Disney World – Magic Kingdom - Night Parade

This was the reason we went on the day we did.  They only have the night-time parade on certain days in off-peak season.  It was totally worth it.  Such a great parade!

Disney World – Magic Kingdom - Peoplemover

Just a relaxing ride for all of us to take.  It was dark for part of it and Corvin was not a fan of that part at all.

Disney World – Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway

Corvin was super excited to drive this adventure.  The wait was pretty long so I stayed with Brady who was snoozing in the stroller and the rest all got in line to drive.  We managed to get a few pictures in the front and then Brady and I ran around to the back of the ride and got a few shots as well.  Corvin LOVED it!

Disney World – Magic Kingdom - Snacks and Strollers

I was so glad we took the double stroller instead of the single.  Corvin would have been exhausted and a beast by the end of the day had he walked all over.  Thank you Claudia - you saved us!  Here the boys enjoy a snack in the afternoon near Cinderella's Castle.

Disney World – Magic Kingdom - Cinderella’s Castle

I LOVE seeing these pictures of Cinderella’s Castle.  This is an image that I would think of when I thought of Disney before I had ever visited there so it was great to see it in person.

Disney World – Magic Kingdom - Swiss Family Robinson

We climbed all through this great tree fort. I remember watching the movie when I was a kid.  I bet Corvin would enjoy seeing it in a few years.

Disney World – Magic Kingdom - Parade

This was the afternoon parade.  I saved our spot with Brady while Tyler and Corvin rode the Aladdin ride.  It was great to see a bunch of the characters in one spot versus doing character meets.  I don’t think the boys would have really enjoyed meeting the characters up close anyway.   A bit too young for that yet.  Brady was scared of Santa Claus so I think meeting the characters would not have gone over well.

Disney World - Magic Kindom - Trains!

Most of you know that Corvin loves trains.  He was super excited to ride on this train at Disney. Papa Davis was so nice to walk our stroller across the park as they would not allow it on the train – it was too big.  Thank you Papa D!

Disney World - Magic Kingdon - Mad Tea Party & Winnie The Pooh

Brady and I watched together as they all rode the tea cup ride.  Then we had lunch in Tomorrowland.  I was surprised the food prices seemed to be pretty reasonable.  My greek salad for lunch was $6.89, and it was really good!

Then we all went on the Winnie The Pooh ride and it was fun.

Disney World - Magic Kindom - It's A Small World

I definitely had this song in my head all day long after this ride.  It worked out perfectly that Brady needed a nap and he fell asleep on the boat ride.

Disney World - Magic Kindom

We went to the Magic Kingdom for a day and had a great time.  It was the first trip to Disney for the boys and me, Tyler has been a few times.  Such a net place. We had a great day.

We started out the day by walking up Main Street and then through Cinderella’s Castle.  So neat to see the castle in person.  The first ride we went on was Dumbo. We gave Corvin a crash course in Disney movies the week before we left.  Dumbo, Peter Pan and  Mickey Mouse were all characters he watched, some for the first time. After Dumbo it was time for a carousel ride - woohoo for no lines for that.

Downtown Disney

We got in on a Saturday and Tyler’s parents and Ashley/Scott were at Epcot for the day.  We got settled in and then headed to Downtown Disney for dinner and to look around.  We were able to visit there a few times and it was great that it was free and a good place to wander and spend some time.

The boys with Woody from Toy Story at the Lego store.
Future Harley Riders!

Massive Tinker Toys

Carousel rides are always fun!

Giant Giraffe's!  We saw this outside of Rainforest Cafe and had to take pictures with Corvin's fave animal.  He was thrilled!
