Brady’s 2nd Birthday Party

I am so long overdue in posting this as Brady’s birthday is in October,  but better late than not at all.  He had a fire truck theme for his party and my Mom made an awesome banner and did the favor bags for the kids along with her amazing sugar cookies.  She spoils us all : )   He had a fun party with family and friends.  Most importantly the birthday boy seemed to have a great time!

The fabulous banner that my Mom made.

The adorable fire truck that was part of the birthday banner.

A party needs balloons!

The best take on a family picture that we could get.

Birthday boy!

Our sweet Brady!!

Cherub Choir

CJ has been participating in the cherub choir at our church – it is for kids age 3-8.  They had a performance the weekend before Christmas and he did great!

Photo Shoot

We were taking pictures trying to get some for our Christmas card for this year and the boys were having fun with each other. As you can imagine it was fun and frustrating at the same time trying to get a good picture of them both at the same time.  I love this one of them laughing!

Christmas Program

CJ had a Christmas program for pre-school and it was so fun to see him along with his class.  He was in the last group to perform and Brady kept asking for his brother throughout the program wanting to see CJ.  He did great!

Bass Pro Shop Christmas Wonderland

We went to the Bass Pro Shop Christmas Wonderland one morning when Tyler was off before Christmas.  It was great!  They had tons of activities for the kids and a picture with Santa.  It was all free and we saw Santa, raced cars around a track, drove a remote control monster truck, shot at targets, wrote letters to Santa and wandered all around the pro shop.  CJ thought Santa was fine, Brady wanted nothing to do with him.  The boys had a blast with all the activities!

Bouncing Boys

The big gift from Santa this year was a bounce house – woohoo!  The boys seem very excited and love to bounce.

Christmas Pajamas

I always love to get the boys special pj’s for Christmas.   Here they are in front of the tree on Christmas morning before opening presents in their pajamas.

Christmas Visit

We were so lucky to have my parents make the trip down for Christmas this year!  They came and spent a few days before hand.  The boys loved their Nana/Papa time and so did I!  We left Christmas afternoon and went to stay with Sara, Reese and Sage for a few days.  A fun Christmas!

Decorating the Tree

The boys loved helping decorate the tree with all our ornaments.  I love looking at all the ornaments and seeing all the special ones we have received over the years.  CJ did great helping, Brady wanted most of his to go up high on the tree this year.

Special Gifts

Our boys love to get mail so they were super excited when a package came for them from Aunt Sandy and Uncle Al.  They were even more excited that the package held Christmas presents for them. Thank you for the great books!

Polar Express

We had the chance before Christmas to take a train ride on the polar express to the north pole!  They served cookies and hot chocolate along the way and there was a visit from Santa Claus.  Each child received a bell with polar express engraved on it which we turned into ornaments for our Christmas tree.

Christmas Tree

The boys had lots of fun helping with the set up of our Christmas tree this year.

CJ and Tyler bringing up the tree from the basement.

Brothers helping each other out to move the tree.

Brady loved helping put up the tree.

CJ also had fun but was not sure about being on Dad's shoulders!

Christmas Eve

We have been enjoying our time with my parents visiting and the boys have been loving having Nana/Papa K here too!  I have lots to update on here so I will try and get some new posts up soon.   We had a relaxing day today and went out for brunch and played all day.  Then the tradition of appetizers for dinner followed by a candlelight church service.  Merry Christmas Eve!!
